About Debiaje

Hi! I’m Débora, also known as Debiaje, an illustrator, designer, and visual artist from Argentina, currently based in Berlin.
I graduated as an Industrial Designer from FAUD, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in 2017. After that, I started traveling and lived in the U.S., New Zealand, and Australia, until I finally landed in Germany.
I’ve worked professionally in illustration, animation, and graphic design, collaborating on both commercial and personal projects. My work revolves around female characters, cats, and themes related to feminism, mental health, and vulnerability, exploring the balance between strength and softness. I like using bold lines, expressive faces, and vivid colors.
Beyond digital work, I love creating with my hands. I’ve tattooed, painted murals, and built more three-dimensional pieces, keeping my practice alive and experimental. My creative process is intuitive and emotional, a mix of curiosity, play, and reflection, always searching for ways to connect through art.
The name “Debiaje” comes from a mix between my nickname Debi and the Spanish phrase “de viaje”, which means travelling. It’s a reminder of the journey I’ve been on, both as an artist and as a person.
